I remember my very first camera. It wasn't great and I don't even know what you called it (not a tech person at all!), but I remember using the long sticks of flash and how I thought it was so cool to use film and capture bits of time. As often as I took photographs of family and friends, I never thought I'd be a photographer. I even went to college to study art, not necessarily make it. Here I am though, making photography my passion, and interweaving it into my life. I love that I get to document my own life, and even more, love that I get to have such a personal and fun relationship with my clients, the other humans of this world, when I'm documenting them. Even though film isn't involved (at least not all the time), it's still one of the coolest things I'll ever do.
I just want to tell love stories. Plain and simple. Through photographic imagery and handcrafted albums and prints, I want to create timeless images for you and your family to cherish forever. I believe in a good mix of photojournalism and guided posing throughout your wedding day or during your portrait session. My hope is that one day your children and grandchildren discover your prints and albums and cherish the memories made.
I currently live in Massachusetts with my super awesome husband and two beautiful babes. Our current excitements include traveling (most recently BALI!!!), trying to feel what life without cable television is like (we pulled the plug....), and homeschool life starting in the Fall of 2018.
I'm very much looking forward to hearing your love story and capturing your memories!
