This weekend was a great learning experience for me. I am pretty good with my exposure and understanding aperture. However, with unpredictable weather and cloud coverage, it's difficult to pick the best time for any photo shoot. Ever.
I went out this weekend at golden hour to capture three sisters. Boy, were they ADORABLE! However, golden hour turned into grey hour due to some thick clouds. I had about 20 minutes to capture the girls before it got entirely too dark. I was able to get a few shots, but my shutter speed was too low that the images didn't come out as sharp as I'd like. Now that I think about it, I probably could have pushed the ISO a little more.
In any event, I learned to give myself a little more time for each shoot. I also learned that the weather around her is so unpredictable that you simply cannot count on it. I still captured some great images with some beautiful girls!
