So Much Love!

I have been shooting nothing but weddings lately.  And I have found them to be extremely exhausting, very long, and, nothing shy of wonderful.  Really.  I tear up EVERY SINGLE TIME - and I don't really know these people.  But their faith, their love, their togetherness moves me in a way that restores my faith in humanity.

The groom secretly had the KEY TO HIS HEART tied to her bouquet.  When she met him at the alter, he gave her his heart.

This past weekend I was able to spend my days with two sets of Newly Weds who showed me that love is really all one needs to get by in this world.  And, at the end of the day, spending your time with someone who shares that connection is beyond magical.  They showed me that it doesn't matter your religion, your race, or your past, but rather, your love for one another that make everything totally and completely worth it.  Worth what you ask?  LIFE.

We are all here just simply trying to survive happily.  We all want to struggle less and smile more. And, the mundane day-to-day routines that we get stuck in can make smiling difficult sometimes.  But, when you have someone (WHOEVER YOU CHOOSE) to be by your side to take the edge off of the mundaneness, makes this crazy thing we call life so much easier.  So much better.  So much happier.

Take a moment and hug your companion, your lover, your husband, your wife, your dog.  Whoever it is that makes you love more and hate less, hug them.  Please hate less.  Please use these couples as an example of what life is REALLY all about.  Not money, not politics, not the worries of who everyone else wants to love.  But, love.  Simply love.  That's why we have this life.

Namaste.
